Mediation can be a highly useful approach to addressing conflicts that arises in the context of neighbor-to-neighbor relationships. Often, beneath the conflict is a relationship that, with mediation, might be preserved for the benefit of future dealings, not to mention daily life. Our mediators are trained to create a space where power differentials are neutralized and participants may engage in a conversation that they may not otherwise be able to have, and where resolution that satisfies both parties is possible.
